Chris Scott

Consultant / Managing Director

After a short career in theoretical physics calculating things like the lifetime of the proton, Chris moved into the world of IT which led inevitably to the web. Fate conspired to bring Marcus, Paul and Chris together and out of that cosmic collision Headscape was born.

What do you do at Headscape?

As managing director of Headscape I get to split my time between running the business, developing new business and consulting.

I’ve been working with several clients lately helping them to make better use of analytics. The problem with tools like Google Analytics, excellent though they are, is that they generate overwhelming quantities of data. Delivering useful, usable information to business decision makers requires thought and planning.

As part of the solution to providing valuable analytics I’ve been creating automatically updating dashboards that show trends in key performance indicators. I’ve also been working on page scoring methodologies to reveal the good, the bad and the ugly in terms of external visibility and “stickiness”.

Chris, in full analysis mode.
