I have been designing and building websites for over a decade (and recently a few native mobile apps too). I guess I’d describe myself as: a designer; a front-end developer; a film geek; an ex-rugby player; a balcony gardener; a mountain bike rider; a real ale drinker; and an aspiring baker.

What do you do at Headscape?

I plan, design and build websites (front-end templates at least) which focus on the client’s users and try to eliminate anything from the end result which doesn’t serve their needs and expectations. Also, I love good typography and cry when people ask me to add ‘fun’ to a website.

What has been your favourite project to work on and why?

I really enjoyed working with the Broads Authority on their new site. Their web team shared my appreciation for a minimalist approach which let their beautiful imagery do most of the talking. I also think they did an excellent job integrating the templates I produced into their content management system.
