Headscape worked with Butterfly Conservation throughout 2012 on a redesign project that started with detailed research covering expert review, stakeholder interviews and audience research. One of the key drivers for the new site is the charity’s 2020 Vision that outlines tough targets for growth and engagement. The new website has been designed to help achieve these targets.
Another requirement for the new site was to create a look and feel that would be attractive to a wide audience while not dumbing down Butterfly Conservation’s scientific roots. The final piece of the jigsaw involved upgrading the back-end technology to Headscape’s latest CMS version and rebuilding custom functionality (such as the spotting/recording mechanism) we developed for the previous site.
We are delighted with the result and look forward to helping Butterfly Conservation evolve the site even further over the coming years.
