Chris Scott

Once upon a time Chris did things like calculating the lifetime of the proton.  After a short career in theoretical physics, Chris moved into the world of IT which led inevitably to the web.  Fate conspired to bring Marcus, Paul and Chris together and out of that cosmic collision Headscape was born.  As managing director of Headscape Chris gets to split his time between running the business, developing new business and consulting.

What do you do at Headscape?

Business development.  Consulting – mainly helping clients to identify requirements and opportunities and information architecting.

What do you do when you aren’t doing that?

I’m also responsible for finance and recruitment at Headscape.

What has been your favourite project to work on and why?

Recently, I’ve enjoyed working on the Connexions Leicestershire project because the Headscape team has worked really well and the client has responded positively.  Also, it is the most recent so I can remember it.

Do you have a hobby or interest we should know about?

Cycling – especially over mountains.  I’m currently planning a 1,000km seven countries in seven days ride for the end of June 2011. I’ll be collecting sponsorship for www.trusselltrust.org soon.

What is your greatest personal achievement?

450 miles cycled along and over the Pyrenees from the Atlantic to Mediterranean in just under four and a half days.
